A very well hidden gem! Truly Portuguese feel, with authentic food very true to the best portuguese produce. Only 5 options on the menu, but all extraordinarily flavourful. Individual portions big enough for two and staff very efficient and welcoming. Value for money with an average of 13€ per person with starter, main course, wine and coffee! Highly recommend
If you want the best meal in Alentejo, then do not hesitate in coming to this incredible restaurant. It is a two minute walk from the train station so you can catch the train from Lisbon. It's a family run operation in the middle of a very simple Village. Try the pork and fries and don't worry about how much it's gonna cost because no matter how much you think it's going to cost it will probably be less. THE BEST

Que maravilhoso restaurante, um espaço que nos oferece uma visita aos tempos antigos e tão bem cuidado. A comida nem tivemos comentários, desde a tábua de queijos típicos alentejanos que tanto gostamos, ás migas com um tempero divinal. Obviamente que tínhamos sempre um espacinho para as sobremesas típicas da casa que estavam uma delícia. Agradecemos também aos funcionários que foram sempre simpáticos e atenciosos.

What a wonderful restaurant, a space that offers us a glimpse into ancient times and is so well-maintained. The food was beyond words, from the typical Alentejo cheese board we loved so much to the divinely seasoned migas. Of course, we always had room for the house's signature desserts, which were delicious. We also thank the staff, who were always friendly and attentive.

Aqui são apresentados pratos tipicamente alentejanos, como açorda d'alho, sopa de cação, migas com carne de alguidar, entre outras. Todos eles muito bem confecionados e com uma ótima relação qualidade/preço. Porém também TÊM OPÇÕES VEGETARIANAS muito bem confecionadas, o que é raro no interior do alentejo.
O atendimento é realizado com bastante simpatia e eficácia, e não posso deixar de referir que no final da refeição é oferecido o famoso licor de poejo.

A restaurant located in the town center, beautifully decorated "in the Alentejo style" and with a fantastic atmosphere. Here, they serve typical Alentejo dishes, such as garlic açorda, dogfish soup, migas with alguidar meat, among others. All of them are very well prepared and offer excellent value for money. They also have very well-prepared vegetarian options, which is rare in the Alentejo interior. The service is very friendly and efficient, and I must mention that the famous pennyroyal liqueur is offered at the end of the meal. Excellent for group dinners. Definitely worth repeating! :)
Um restaurante lindíssimo, comemos a famosa Sopa da Panela, que estava divinal. Fomos atendidos pelo Pedro, muito simpático, sempre atento a todos os detalhes. Ficamos muito satisfeitos e com certeza regressaremos neste espaço magnífico.
